Newbold Comyn Arms

Our bar is a warm, inviting conversion of the Newbold's original Stables.  With an open real log fire, exposed beams and surrounded by artwork and historical information from the town, the bar is a real local pub; where both families and friends can feel welcome and at home.

You can enjoy a relaxing family meal at lunchtime or sunday lunch in a child friendly environment.  Afterwards why not take advantage of our great country walks and views.  (We have giant games to keep the children occupied whilst you enjoy your real ale, wine or beer.)

Our head chef has created beautiful, locally source evening food just for you to tantalize the taste-buds.

Originally the building was the estate's horse stables, housing upto 18 of the Willes family horses and housing horses from famous visitors such as the Marquis of Waterford. During the late 1970's the stables were converted into a riding school. Soon after the main farm house was converted into what is now the Newbold Comyn Arms, the stables were converted into the inviting conversion that stands today.
