Relax by our roaring fire whilst tasting our ever changing menus with mini bites, delicious main courses and puddings available from 6 - 9pm (last food orders 8.45pm).

Private events at the Manor House

The Manor House is available for private hire, with a private veranda holding stunning views overlooking the golf course, that can hold up to 120 people and is perfect for that private occasion, weddings, funerals, Christening, birthday party, meetings or just happy get-togethers.

The Newbold Comyn Arms is one of the leading ale venues in the country, so you can be guaranteed that there will always be something fresh and exciting available. Whether you are an experience real ale drinker or someone just used to the occasional pint, we will have something to suit you. If you want to try something new but arent sure whats a good choice, order a free taster!


	Jolly Green Giant 4.2% Annually brewed green hopped beer, brewed with fresh hops picked at havest time and added to the brew within hours. A single variety of hop is used to give a refreshing crisp taste.
	Kings Champion 4.6% A premium full-bodied and malty bitter. This quickly fades to give a lingering bitter finish with a good balance of malt, hops and fruit.
	Kingmaker 5.5% A rich fruity Christmas cake of a beer, ruddy brown in colour, to be treated with caution! A grainy spirity aroma leads onto a palate with overtones of whiskey, orange and dark chocolate. A warming alcoholic finish.
	Churchyard Bob 4.9% A full flavoured and aromatic beer with a deep brown hue. Notes of grain and chocolate on the nose develop into a lovely roasty richness on the palate. The finish is sweet and fruity with a light edge of bitterness.
	Falstaff 4.4% A adaption of our premium bitter Kings Champion, being dry hopped after racking.
	Best Bitter 3.9% A easy drinking golden brown session beer, with a malty flavour and a gentle bitterness which becomes more assertive in the aftertaste.
	Golden Bear 4.9% A assertive golden brown beer characterised by a long lasting slightly resiny bitterness. the finish is fruity and warming with hints of spice and orange.
	Shakespeare's County Ale 3.4% A light easy drinking beer with a slightly spicy and a delicate floral, smooth bitterness.
	Lady Godiva 4.2% An aromatic golden ale, with honey and malt on the nose. On the tongue a slightly sweet, biscuity maltiness is balances by the rounded bitterness of the palate surrenders to a lingering bitterness in the finish.
	London Pride Ale 4.2% Known and loved for its distinctive, rounded flavour, London Pride is the award-winning beer for which Fuller‘s is most famous.
	Mad Goose 4.2% Named after the fearsome Geese that patrol the Purity Brewery. Brewed with Maris Otter Malt, Caragold and Wheat Malt with Hallertau bittering hops and Cascade and Willamette aroma hops.Light copper in colour with a great zesty hop character with citrus overtone
