The NCA - AWARD WINNING FREE HOUSE!

Image
Here, at The NCA, we are delighted to have received a number of awards as we strive to deliver exceptional standards to our customers.  These awards are recognition by the industry and we are proud of our successes.

With the real ale revival hitting new heights The NCA is included, for the first time, in the 2009 edition of CAMRA's Good Beer GuideOut of approximately 55,000 pubs in Britain, only 4,500 of the finest outlets for cask beer can be included in the best selling Good Beer Guide so it is a remarkable achievement for The NCA to be chosen.

But, above all, the award speaks volumes for the quality of our beer in that it is local CAMRA members that have voted for our inclusion in the "drinkers' bible.

SOME OF OUR HIGHLIGHTS @ The NCA

Every day is a highlight at The NCA as we continue to develop our position at the heart of the local community.  Here, we feature a small number of the many amazing highlights we have enjoyed since acquiring the premises in 2005.

ImageFRIDAY 23 MAY 2008 - THE BOB BROLLY SHOW  was broadcast live from The Stables Bar.  In his own unique style, Bob chatted to customers, quizzed guests and played some great live music.  Working with one of the West Midlands' most popular presenters, gave us a great opportunity to find out what really happens behind the scenes in local radio.  Thank you to Bob, Sarah and Tim for a truly great day ... haste ye back!

ImageTHURSDAY 24 JULY 2008 - always one of the great nights in our annual calendar with a pre-Warwick Folk Festival summer ceilidh and evening of up-tempo folk music hosted by Kenilworth's STEAMCHICKENShropshire caller CATE BANNISTER guided dancers through their steps and Irish dancing featured from six-piece female group SCIORR.  The evening concluded when the much talked-about young band The QP's struck up their lively folk-rock and klezmer sound.
